Social Application with Dynamic Content

The Challenge

Outdated website with lots of competing content cluttering up the homepage for this internal application. Users were having a hard time finding information including contact information of other agents and insurance carriers. Our audience for this site had two segments so we had to keep in mind that either segment wants a different user’s experience.

The Solution

We did a card sorting exercise and built a more intuitive UI. We did some lean UX practices to show that the new UI was working. We redistributed the content to other sections because before everything was on the homepage. We created a my profile section where users can log in and keep their contact information up to date. We also added a favorite section where you can save your top contacts. We then built drag and drop modules so you can customize your view. We redesigned the overarching brand identity recently so we used the new styles and applied them to the revised content.
